Wood is prone to rotting if it is used outdoors without being sealed. Not only will rot make wood projects less visually pleasing, but it can also create a hazard of collapse. Staining wood projects right away and applying re-coats regularly is crucial to avoiding rot in the first place. The entry of water into wood can cause more than rot. If wood freezes after taking on water, it can begin to break. This can result in the total destruction of a wood project if this process happens repeatedly. Meanwhile, sunlight can also cause damage to unsealed wood, resulting in unsightly discoloration. Sealing with wood stain will preserve the appearance and structural integrity in the face of these threats.

The Chroma Process
Before we start staining, we will asses if any maintenance to be done beforehand. We then take the steps necessary to protect any furniture, window frames, and other items.
Next, our team of professionals prepares all surfaces so at the end, they will look as good as new. This step may also include sealing stains, scuff sanding the surface, and filling holes and cracks.
Once surfaces are properly prepared, we get right down to business applying the stain you have chosen. The results will soon speak for themselves.
4. Clean Up
After everything has dried, we remove our materials and move everything back to where you request. Then we’ll make sure everything is clean, if not cleaner, than before we started your project.
Finally, we inspect our staining work after each project. Once we’re satisfied, we’ll then ask you to perform an inspection to make sure our work has exceeded your expectations.
